Look for signs of life and stay positive during these uncertain times. We need to be intentional on focusing on life and gratitude when it is so easy to become distressed listening to the negative. Therefore, I have some suggestions. Any new babies born among your friends and family? I am sure there are many photos they would share with you. So print off a photo and and add a cute baby quote. Put it up on your closet door or kitchen cupboards to remind you of new life.
Some of you have farms you can take a drive to and look over the fence at new calves, foals, piglets or lambs. Look for signs of life. Take photos of them and print off at home and put up around the house. Choose to concentrate on life.
I AM VERY BLESSED
I will admit. Because I have lambs born, on our ranch, every day for the next month I am very blessed! http://aveleyranch.com Check us out on The Aveley Ranch FB page for some cool videos of our lambing.
PLANT SOME LIFE
I planted tiny hard, dry seeds 5 days ago and now look-new seedlings-new life! It’s exciting for the whole family to see new, green shoots coming up near the windowsills. Order a grow light from Amazon or Stokes to help the growth.https://www.amazon.ca/Monios-L-Spectrum-Integrated-Fixture-Reflector/dp/B072J2T878/ref=zg_bs_6257136011_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=P1RQ0QW1S6C9XJZ6DX5M
Besides, after a few weeks of growing and observing life you now have some valuable bedding plants. Not a gardener? That’s alright, because you can give the plants away to someone that is a gardener and make them smile.
When I call others I make sure to begin our conversations with interesting positive topics that I have heard of. If I get phone calls of gloom and doom I make an effort to flip it. Most importantly, I remind my family and friends of the positive things that are happening in their life.
AND LEAD WITH POSITIVITY
There are good things happening, people have told me and so I remind them: Your children are healthy. You have enough food in your house. We are going into spring. Soon we can start gardening outside. Working from home has many pluses, because you are still getting a paycheck for one.
Your landlord lowered the rent. No guests are coming; therefore, I will have less busyness. Families are shopping less and therefore are making bread together. You sat outside in the sun visiting with your neighbour over the fence. You are saving money. Tax deadlines have been extended. I have a calmness because I have less deadlines. https://www.lifecoachhelps.com/gratitude-is-a-choice-gratitude-gratitude-attitude-grateful-intentional/
Look for signs of life. Keep positive and encourage others. Count your blessings.
